The RAREMET Congress 2026 is the successor to the series of scientific seminars "Sazhinsky Readings" and three international scientific and practical conferences, which addressed topical issues of industry development, identified prospects for its development and areas of application in related fields of domestic and foreign industry.
Nowadays, the RM and REM industry is undergoing a global transformation, requiring new approaches to the development of strategic partnerships and international cooperation in the development of "closed–loop" technologies - from mining, processing, extraction to final products.
The Congress is intended to become the largest platform for constructive dialogue of
fundamental and applied science, government authorities and the real sector of the economy on the most pressing issues of the rare earth industry in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. The congress will be attended by leading experts from Russia, India, China, Egypt, Turkey and many other countries.

Graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Ural State Technical University (now Ural Federal University) in the specialty "Electronics and automation of physical installations" in 2002 and further postgraduate studies in the specialty "Condensed matter Physics" in 2006, Candidate of Physical and mathematical Sciences. He is a specialist in the field of luminescent and optical spectroscopy of rare earth ions and materials based on them, including using synchrotron radiation of the vacuum ultraviolet and X-ray ranges. Author of more than 60 scientific papers related to the study of the processes of creation and relaxation of electronic excitations in oxide and fluoride optical (nano-) materials doped with ions of rare earth and transition metals. Deependra Singh is the President and Managing Director of IREL (India) Limited. IREL is a state-owned company that has experience in different fields, including strategic corporate planning, project management, production and quality control, etc.
Dipendra Singh has participated in a big variety of the World Bank, OPEC, the Asian Development Bank, as well as the central Government of India projects. He received a UNIDO scholarship in Germany and he is the author of more than 75 reports on rare earth and heavy minerals.
He is the recipient of various awards, including the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for outstanding contributions to the field of Rare Earths in India, which was awarded to Singh by the Rare Earths Association of India (REAI) in 2023, the "Atma Nirbaratha Award" of the Indian Congress of Analytical Sciences (IASC) 2023, "Eminent Engineering personality" from REAI in 2023. By the Institute of Engineers (India) in 2023, he was awarded the "Award for Outstanding Business Leadership" awarded by the Institute of Economic Research in 2022, he is also the winner of the award "Best CEO Corporate Management", "Awards for Innovative Excellence" awarded by the annual International Goeminetech Intl Symposium in 2021 and 2022.

Pushpal Ghosh
Dr. Pushpal Ghosh joined the Faculty of Chemistry at H.S. Gur Central University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, in October 2013. He received his PhD in Philosophy from the Indian Association for the Advancement of Science (IACS), Calcutta, under the supervision of Professor Amitav Patra [FRSC] in 2009. He then moved to Germany as part of the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Scholarship and worked at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, from December 2009 to October 2013 under the supervision of Professor Ani-Verena Mudring [FRSC]. He also participated in the European Research Council (ERC) project in Germany. He also received a Master's degree from the Presidential College (Presidential University), and graduated with honors from the Chemistry Department of the Ramkrishna Mission College in Narendrapur, Kolkata. He is the recipient of several awards and prizes. Among them, the AvH Scholarship, Inventor Award 2012 at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, is the winner of the International Travel Grant by SERB, Best Poster Prizes, he has the prize for the best poster at several national and international conferences, the “The Governor of West Bengal’s Award". For his special contributions in the field of chemistry, he is a member of the editorial board of the journal Green Chemistry Letters and Reviews (Taylor & Francis Magazine, index 6.6).
Now he heading a research group funded by 6 research projects (5 as PI): UGC Startup Grant, two Serbian projects (grant program for young scientists), three BRNS projects (two as PI and one as CI). He was recently awarded the Beam Time Award from IUAC (2022-2025) for measuring ionoluminescence using rapid emission of heavy ions. He is currently supervising three students for a PhD in philosophy and one student for a project. He is interested in the synthesis of new generation optoelectronic nanomaterials using green synthesis. He has published more than 43 scientific articles in international journals with a high impact factor, book chapters, including one German and one Indian patent. In addition, he has recently become the author of two books (co-authored): “Introduction to Spectroscopy and Quantum Mechanics” in Bengali and Hindi and recently released by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 29, 2023 and freely available on the e-KUMBH portal of the All India Technical Council (AICTE).
He also provided information for the MOOCS course from MHRD [D-block Element Chemistry, Quantum Chemistry and Spectroscopy (7 lectures in weeks 7, 8 and 9). This course has been conducted for the last 3 years under the SWAYAM Free Online Education program of the Government of India, and more than 4500 students across the country have joined it so far.

JSC Giredmet named after N.P. Sazhin is the organizer of the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Related Technologies "RAREMET 2026" (The International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Related Technologies – RAREMET 2026), which will be held in Moscow from May 20 to 22, 2026.
The RAREMET Congress 2026 is the successor to the series of scientific seminars "Sazhinsky Readings", organized at the GIREDMET Institute on the initiative of the USSR Academy of Sciences since 1970 in memory of the founder of the Russian rare metal industry, academician N.P. Sazhin, and international RAREMET conferences, which were held in Moscow in 2021, 2022 and 2024.
Throughout its development period, the RAREMET discussion platform has become Russia's largest international integrator of scientists, technologists, government and business representatives for a comprehensive discussion of scientific, technological, suprasystem and global aspects of the development of the rare metals industry
