Rusredmet Group of Companies (sponsor of RAREMET-2026) is creating the first rare earth separation complex in modern Russia based on the Solikamsk Magnesium Plant

Rusredmet Group of Companies JSC (sponsor of the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Technologies RAREMET-2026) plays an important role in the creation of the first industrial complex in modern Russia for the separation of rare earth elements on the basis of JSC Solikamsk Magnesium Plant (JSC SMZ, an enterprise of the Mining Division of the Rosatom State Corporation).

The work is carried out within the framework of the Federal project "Development of the rare and rare Earth Metals industry", which is part of the national project "New Materials and Chemistry". Rusredmet JSC is the designer of the new production of REM.

Commissioning of the separation complex at the JSC "SMZ" planed for 2027.

Developed jointly with the Mining Division of Rosatom and JSC SMZ the technology of production of cerium, lanthanum, neodymium, praseodymium and concentrate of the medium-heavy group of rare earth elements (samarium, gadolinium, europium) has already been worked out by specialists of Rusredmet Group JSC at an independently created pilot plant.

The creation of an industrial complex for the separation of rare earth elements (REM) is a strategically important and large–scale step for the development of the country's rare earth industry as a whole.
