Mining Industry Magazine has received the status of General Information partner of the RAREMET-2026 Congress

Mining Industry Magazine, an authoritative industry publication, will support the holding of the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Technologies RAREMET-2026 as a general information partner. The magazine will provide professional coverage of the congress, paying special attention to the issues of mineral resources and processing of rare metals in the framework of one of the four conferences — RAREMET:Minerals. The collaboration will make it possible to bring the key ideas and outcomes of the congress discussions to a wide range of mining industry specialists.

The RAREMET-2026 Congress will be held in Moscow on May 20-22, 2026 at the RTU MIREA site. Its scientific program includes four thematic conferences: "Mineral resources of rare metals and sustainable processing technologies" (RAREMET:Minerals), "Metallurgy, magnetic materials, powders and composite materials based on rare metals" (RAREMET:Metallurgy), "Chemistry and Technology of high purity substances based on rare metals" (RAREMET:Chemistry), "Materials based on rare metals in electronics, optics, photonics, converters and energy storage technologies" (RAREMET:Functional), as well as plenary sessions, panel discussions and the specialized exhibition RAREMET:Expo.

The Congress will bring together about 500 scientists, engineers, as well as representatives of business and government agencies from more than 15 countries, including Russia, India, China, the BRICS countries, the CIS, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions. A press conference is expected to be held with the participation of the heads of government authorities of the Russian Federation, India and Indonesia. Additionally, a meeting of the Indian-Russian Subgroup on Mining and Processing of Mineral Resources under the Working Group on Modernization and Industrial Cooperation (IRWG M&IC) of the Indian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC TEC) is planned. The organizer of the Congress is JSC "Giredmet". Co-organizers include RTU MIREA, D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, N.M. Fedorovsky VIMS, and IGIC RAS. The event is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, and other organizations.

The journal is the press organ of the Academy of Mining Sciences and covers a wide range of issues in the field of mining, the mineral resource complex, mining technologies, processing of minerals and related industries. The publication frequency is 6 issues per year.
