Kirillitsa Group of Companies will act as the general sponsor and co-organizer of the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Technologies "RAREMET-2026" (RAREMET-2026), which will be held from May 20 to 22, 2026 in Moscow at the site of RTU MIREA. The Congress is organized by the Institute of JSC "Giredmet" named after N.P. Sazhin (part of the Scientific Division of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation).
Kirillitsa's participation in the status of general sponsor reflects the group's strategic focus on developing high-tech areas and forming new industrial markets related to the processing of critical resources.
"The participation of the Kirillitsa Group of Companies in the status of general sponsor and co—organizer is a signal not only for the market, but also for the scientific community. We see that private business is ready for long-term investments in creating a full cycle of processing rare earth metals. This allows us to synchronize the tasks of science and the real production needs of the industry," said Andrey Goliney, Director of the Chemical Technology Cluster of JSC Rosatom Science, the managing organization of JSC Giredmet.
"For us, the partnership with RAREMET-2026 is not just participation in an industry event, but a step towards the formation of a new industrial direction of the group. We consider the rare earth industry as part of our strategy to create a technologically integrated business, from working with resources to deep processing and creating high—value-added products. We are considering creating a mining and chemical cluster of critical metals with a potential capacity up to 50,000 tons per year and using the Congress as a key platform for selecting technological solutions and partnerships," commented Semyon Garagul, CEO and shareholder of Kirillitsa Group of Companies .
Thus, participation in REDMET 2026 becomes part of the group's broader strategy aimed at developing technological competencies and expanding its presence in resource and high-tech segments of the economy.
The program of the Congress includes a business, scientific and technological agenda: plenary and panel sessions, round tables, as well as specialized conferences on the resource base, metallurgy, chemistry and functional materials based on rare metals. Special attention will be paid to digitalization, the use of artificial intelligence, and environmental aspects of the industry's development. The event will also include a specialized technology and equipment exhibition, RAREMET.:Expo and a series of intergovernmental meetings.
About 500 representatives of the scientific community, business and government agencies from Russia, China, India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the CIS and other regions are expected to participate.
