On the Congress website published the preliminary scientific program of the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Technologies RAREMET‑2026 (RAREMET‑2026), which will be held on May 20-22 in Moscow at the RTU MIREA. The organizer is Giredmet JSC.
The program includes plenary and panel sessions, four thematic conferences — RAREMET:Minerals (Mineral resources of rare metals and sustainable processing technologies), RAREMET:Metallurgy (Metallurgy, magnetic materials, powders and composite materials based on rare metals), RAREMET:Chemistry (Chemistry and technology of high purity substances based on rare metals), RAREMET:Functional (Materials and components based on rare metals in electronics, optics, photonics, converters and energy storage technologies), and thematic round tables and expert sessions. Special attention will be paid to digitalization, artificial intelligence, environmental aspects and principles of circular economy in the industry.
The exhibition RAREMET:Expo is planned to be held within the framework of the Congress, where the presentation of technologies, equipment and services for the rare metal industry will take place. Intergovernmental meetings (G2G) and the press-conference will also be held. The 11th meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Indian subgroup on mineral resources is planned to be held on the sidelines of the Congress.
Nowadays, more than 750 delegates from Russia and 19 foreign countries have registered for the Congress: China, India, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Cuba, Egypt, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Pakistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Armenia, Iran, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa. The largest foreign delegation is from India (more than 100 people).
