I am glad to welcome the participants, partners and guests of the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Technologies "RAREMET-2026", co-organized and general partner of which is the Kirilitsa Group of Companies.
Kirillitsa unites vertically integrated companies in the oil and gas industry, the agro-industrial sector and implements projects in the field of rare and rare earth metals.
Russia is one of the countries with the largest reserves of such metals, and it is crucial for us not only to talk about the potential, but also to create effective high-tech solutions. We set ourselves the task of developing and industrially implementing technologies for processing man-made mineral formations, a large potential resource of critical metals that accumulates in significant volumes in Russia from year to year. We also plan to create a mining and chemical cluster with a capacity of up to 50,000 tons per year: a full-cycle complex from mining to processing and production of commercial products.
We are convinced that the development of the rare and rare earth metals industry is impossible without a new quality of interaction between science, government and industry. Today, not only strong scientific ideas are in demand, but also the ability to quickly translate them into engineering solutions, production processes, and a marketable product. This is exactly what the Congress is dedicated to.
I would like to thank the Giredmet team and the Rosatom scientific division for their long-term contribution to shaping the strategic guidelines of the industry: from the Sazhinsky Readings, which Giredmet has been conducting since 1970, to the RAREMET International Congress.
And all those who will come — colleagues from Russia and abroad, from the public sector, science and industry, from educational centers that train a new generation of industry specialists.
